EDWARD MERHIGE, 46.(CAPITAL REGION)

Edward A. Merhige Sr., 46, formerly of Prospect Heights, died Monday at home.

Mr. Merhige was born in Albany. He retired from the East Greenbush Police Department in 1990, and recently had been working as a bus driver for the East Greenbush School District.

Mr. Merhige was a member of the Schodack Republican Club and the Police Benevolent Association, and was a life member of Clinton Heights Miller Hose Fire Department.

He was a member and servant of the House of Praise.
